Micah Richins
Micah J. Richins is the President & Chief Operating Officer of Sunseeker Resorts, a newly emerging hospitality company and the resort subsidiary of Allegiant Travel (NASDAQ: ALGT). In his role, Richins presides over the performance, growth, strategic direction, and corporate disciplines of Sunseeker. The company’s first fully integrated property, Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor, is slated to open October 2023 in Southwest Florida.
Prior to joining the Sunseeker team in 2018, Richins spent more than two decades with MGM Resorts International, including service as the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, where he developed the corporate group and strategic team that lead all analytics and revenue management to revolutionize the way entertainment was scheduled, priced, and promoted in Las Vegas. His former experience includes senior leadership roles at some of MGM’s largest and most successful resorts: MGM Grand, New York New York, and Luxor. He was also instrumental in the opening of multiple Cirque du Soleil entertainment productions including “Zumanity” and “Criss Angel: Believe”.
Richins is excited for his team to unveil Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor this October which become a truly transformational integrated resort experience that will have deep and lasting effects in Southwest Florida’s Charlotte County. The destination will become the center of activity along the harbor, offering guests world-class accommodations, unrivaled dining options, relaxing experiences, and more. Featuring 596 premium rooms and 189 signature Sunsuites™, the resort incorporates best-in-class amenities including, a 117,000 square foot ground-level, cascading ultra-luxe poolside oasis and a 4,800 square foot rooftop pool which will be the largest in all of Florida. With retail outlets situated along a scenic harbor walk, a state-of-the-art fitness center, tranquil spa & salon, 18-hole championship level golf course exclusive to hotel guests, and 20 wholly-owned and branded food & beverage concepts including seven restaurants, eleven bars and a 25,000 square-foot multi-dining experience.
