WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”

– President John F. Kennedy, Navy World War II Veteran

Forty percent of the Military Heritage Museum’s budget is dependent on contributions, which means we only operate through the generosity of the community and our supporters. Please consider supporting us today. Every contribution—small or large—of time, money or knowledge helps!

The Military Heritage Museum first opened its doors on December 7, 2001. Today we are thankful for the vision of the museum’s founders and its journey these past twenty years. A journey supported by the generosity of many contributors, ensuring our military heritage is preserved and not forgotten. Today’s Military Heritage Museum is different in so many ways. It has transformed itself into a place that awakens your soul and challenges your mind in ways that you can’t find anywhere else.

The Military Heritage Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation classified by the Florida Department of Agriculture and consumer services as an educational facility and therefore exempt from registration with that department. In compliance with IRS rules, the most recently field IRS form 990 is available on request to the Military Heritage Museum’s office.

Contributions to the Dave Martens and Sue Miscia Endowment Fund

dave martens & su miscia

Dave Martens, prior to his recent passing, along with his partner Su Miscia, established a special endowment fund for the Military Heritage Museum. It is their vision that one day the Military Heritage Museum will own its own facility, ideally the one it is in today. As such, in addition to the $500,000 gift they have already made to establish this fund, they will also match, dollar for dollar, any contributions made by their family, friends, and other supporters of the Museum, up to an additional $500,000!
